Cookie Policy
We keep cookies to a minimum. This page explains the cookies and local storage PixelForge AI uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.

2. The cookies we use
| Category | What it does | Examples | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session, security, and load balancing - the Service cannot work without these. | Clerk session and authentication cookies; CSRF / security tokens | Always on (no consent required) |
| Preferences | Remember choices you make, such as light/dark theme and language. | Theme and language stored in local storage / a preference cookie | Always on (essential to your choices) |
| Analytics | Help us understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it. | [[ Analytics provider / cookies - only if/when enabled ]] | Consent where required by law |
| Marketing | We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. | None | Not used |
We currently do not run third-party advertising or cross-context behavioural tracking. If we add analytics that require consent, we will request it through a consent banner before those cookies are set.
3. Our consent approach
Strictly necessary and preference cookies are set because they are essential to provide the Service and to honour the choices you make. For any non-essential cookies (such as optional analytics), we ask for your prior, freely given consent through a clear banner, in line with GDPR/UK GDPR (and ePrivacy), the Swiss FADP, and applicable US state laws - and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
4. How to control cookies
- In the app - change your theme and language preferences any time; where a consent banner is shown, you can update your choice there.
- In your browser - you can block or delete cookies and clear local storage from your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and may break parts of the Service.
- Do Not Track - we do not use cross-site tracking, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of; where such signals carry legal weight, we honour them.
